This refreshing Guava salad is a great way to beat the summer heat. Easy to make and delicious, this salad is ready in less than 10 minutes.

Eating fruits and vegetables is important for keeping healthy and what better way to consume them, than in a nice refreshing salad.

We have a salad as a side dish with almost every meal. Sometimes we also make entire dinner salads or dessert salads. But more often than not, it’s a regular ‘cuchumber‘ vegetable salad with a seasonal fruit added in, like guavas, apples, chikoos, or mangoes. The raw mango salad dad makes is one of my favorites.

PS. Not cucumber, ‘cuchumber‘, that’s what it’s called when it’s all mixed up.

Guavas are a seasonal fruit that we usually used to make a dessert called guava cheese. It’s not a regular feature in our salads, but when it is, it adds a lot to the flavour of the salad. To know how to make this refreshing guava salad recipe, read on.
