If you’re headed to London, you won’t find yourself short on amazing restaurants. From pubs and street vendors to high tea and tapas, London has something for every traveler.

Keep reading to discover the top vegan places to eat in London. The food that they offer is so tasty that even your carnivore friends will ask for a bite.

Street Food

If nothing else, you simply have to check out the amazing markets that London has to offer. From the famous Borough Market that every tourist will be at, to the lesser-known Victoria Park Market, vegan street food in London does not disappoint.

1. Shakey Shakey Vegan

Easily one of the best places for vegan fish and chips in London, you can’t go wrong with Shakey Shakey Vegan. The tofish and shakey shakey chips are easily the best thing on the menu and if you ask nicely, they’ll even throw in extra vegan tartar sauce.

Shakey Shakey Vegan is at E1, 6 London.

2. Get Dappa

No list is complete without dessert and Get Dappa’s incredible nut based ice cream, while expensive, is not to be missed. You can find them at various locations around London and frequently at Vegan Nights.

Get Dappa is at The Balcony (First Floor), Westfield White City, London W12 7GF.

Afternoon Tea

Is a trip to London really complete without a classic afternoon tea? Whatever budget you’re on, there’s an afternoon tea experience for you.

1. Egerton House Hotel

My favorite by far is the Egerton House Hotel’s afternoon tea, veganized of course. The delicious course of tea, cocktails, scones, and sandwiches galore is well worth the price you pay and you simply can’t beat the absolutely stunning hotel itself.

The Egerton House Hotel is at 17-19 Egerton Terrace, Chelsea, London

2. B Bakery

If you’re looking for something a little more affordable, B Bakery is a well known afternoon tea experience that can cater to all diets. However, you will find that while the restaurant is large, they fit as many people in as possible, so you may struggle to hear your fellow diners over the restaurant noise.

B Bakery is at 6-7 Chandos Place, Covent Garden, London

3. Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium

For a more unique afternoon tea, Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium is easily something for the scrapbook. You’ll have a two-hour slot to dine and play with cats, while sipping on unlimited (nonalcoholic) drinks. However, the food isn’t quite as tasty as some other options.

Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium is at 152-154 Bethnal Green Road,
London

1. Ned’s Noodle Bar

After a few too many drinks in Shoreditch, you’re probably ready for some heavy carbs to soak up the night. Head to Ned’s Noodle Bar and give their udon noodles a try. Ned’s Noodle bar is open late so they’re the perfect place to end the night.

Ned’s Noodle Bar is at 3E Belvedere Road, London

2. The Black Pig With White Pearls

Vegan tapas are hard to come by, but The Black Big with White Pearls in Stoke Newington is a winner. With a full menu of vegan tapas at decently affordable prices, this is not to be missed. Savory and sweet, as well as a fabulous cocktail menu, this is not a place to miss.

The Black Pig With White Pearls is located at 61, Stoke Newington High Street, London

Cheese

While cheese is not something you would normally find on a guide about where to eat in London, with so many incredible vegan options, you absolutely need to add these to your bucket list.

1. La Fauxmagerie

Cheese at La Fauxmagerie

The first and only vegan cheese shop in London, The Fauxmagerie is the best place to go to find most of the UK’s vegan cheeses in one place. It’s best to avoid visiting late in the day or on the weekends, since the line can get pretty long and they sell out quickly. If you’re looking for a special treat when you arrive in London, order one of their taster baskets to have upon arrival.

La Fauxmagerie is located at 20 Cheshire Street, London

2. I AM NUT OK

I might be partial to I AM NUT OK because I spent a summer developing recipes and photographing their cheese, but the delish cashew based cheese is a winner in my book.

You can find I AM NUT OK at Victoria Park Market and Broadway Market.

3. Honestly Tasty

You absolutely need to try Honestly Tasty’s Veganzola. This vegan blue cheese is so real that those who weren’t fans of blue cheese before going vegan will probably turn down this creation too. That being said, if you’ve found that vegan cheese isn’t strong enough for you, you need to taste this.

Honestly Tasty is open for online deliveries.
